Past Events

Over the years, The Clock has become known for hosting a number of monumental events. From days on the national calendar like ANZAC Day, to events which are a little more unique such as the Surry Hills Festival and Negroni Week. This Surry Hills pub has carved out a real name for itself with many of the past events that have been held, and there are plenty more to come!

Mardi Gras

During Mardi Gras festival we transformed The Clock into a gallery!

Guests were able to take a journey around the venue and look back through the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras years, dating all the way back to 1978, with the Mardi Gras Parade posters.

Through out the festival, we also raised funds for the Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, with a $1 of every food and drink special going straight to the cause. We raised a total of $2,189 for BGF.

We look forward bringing another unique experience in 2020!

Meet The Makers

Meet the Makers was a series we created to give guests access to some of Australia's best wine makers. Not only were guests able to interact with great wine minds of the land, they were treated with delicious drops and matching food pairings at the same time.

Some past hosts of note include Soul Growers, of the Barossa Valley and Alpha Box & Dice of McLaren Vale.

Caffe Torino

A traditional Turin style caffe in the heart of Surry Hills? Why not we say! It was an absolute pleasure working with Martini Australia, to help them launch their new Martini Bitters range. The Whisky Room was converted into a classic Italian style Caffe for the whole of Surry Hills to come an indulge in the wonderful tradition of Aperitivo Hour. It was truly a sight to behold. We hold lots of events in the Whisky Room, feel like doing something for yourself in there? Chat with our events team to help plan your perfect evening.

The Clock just wouldn't be The Clock without Negroni Week. Every June, we get to celebrate the world's greatest cocktail for a whole week! Over the years we have become famous for putting on some pretty out there parties, 2018 was no different as we celebrated and created a range of Negronis from all over the world, as well as a few inspired by different Australian gins.
